ATTENTION fellow NAR members and supporters of NAR Section#632

Listed below (see Rocketeer Calendar) are the dates for Model Rocket Building Days and Model Rocket Flying Days sponsored by NAR Section #632 Southern Colorado Rocketeers and the Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum for 2005.  

• Model Rocket Building Days are generally held on the second Saturday of the month in coordination with the Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum in Pueblo, CO.
• The museum is located six miles east of Pueblo on the grounds of the Pueblo Memorial Airport.Participants build a simple skill level 1 model rocket. Building starts at 9 AM and generally takes approximately one hour to build the rocket.
• Building supplied provided by the Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum.
• Cost is $3 museum admission (1/2 the regular admission price) for persons aged 10 years and over. $6 for three motors.
• The model rockets are free and persons are encouraged to bring them to the model rocket flying day held one week later.
• Model Rocket Flying Days are generally held on the third Saturday of the month at Lake Pueblo State Park.
• The club flies from the Radio Controlled airplane field located on the north shore of Lake Pueblo. Cost is free although a Colorado State Parks Pass is required for entry into the park. 2005 Colorado State Parks Passes are on sale now.Call or email for directions.
• Flying starts at 9 AM and ends generally around 1 PM.  

Please note the special event on 27 August 2005.

• STATEFAIROC II is our annual night launch and will be held at our alternate launch site located at Pueblo Motor Sports Park. Call for directions.   If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me. Feel free to share this message with anyone you think might be interested.
